Time to address the elephant in the room... Unfortunately, due to the drought, there will not be sweet corn this summer. Even though the settings have tasseled, without sufficient moisture they won't pollinate properly to fill out the cobs. I'm sorry, this sucks, and I'm very disappointed. Sweet corn season has become one of my favourite parts of summer, and I always enjoy catching up with everyone at the wagon. But alas, as the saying goes in farming, it'll be better next year🙃
