Hello! 👋 You may have found us because you heard about our farm on ABC News/Radio or the Sunshine Valley Gazette. 📰
We’re Riley and Lachlan from Honeyeater Farm, a small-scale, organic farm located in Woombye on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
At present, we’re transitioning the farm from its summer ‘rest phase’ (when we grow a mixed-species cover crop) to a productive market garden. All going well, our first seedlings are to be transplanted this week. 🌱
In 2024, we grew 26 different crops, selling >1000 bunches each of radish, coriander, carrots , baby broccoli , bok choy and lettuce. Customer favourites included our dutch cream potatoes and golden beetroots. 🥦🥕🥔
We’re proud to say, ‘We only sell what we grow.’
In 2025, we will continue to sell our produce exclusively at Pomona Country Markets. In the future, we hope to supply customers closer to home, but aren’t quite there yet.
