The market is held each Saturday at Gateway Village on the Lincoln Causeway in Wodonga. Come along to browse, buy, and support the fresh produce and prepared foods that have been grown and made on our doorstep. At the Farmers Market, all produce has come from within a 160km radius, so you can be guaranteed that what you’re buying is local, fresh, and made with passion! By buying direct from the producer you are able to understand more about what you are buying, including peaks and fluctuations in the product itself, as you get a chance to talk direct with the people behind the product. SHOPPING TIPS FOR FARMERS' MARKETS
Go early to get the best selection of produce (some stallholders often sell out early). Walk around the market before you buy, to see what's available. Each month you will find different fruits and vegetables, giving you a chance to try new things and buy according to the season. If you don't know what something is, don’t be afraid to have a chat to the farmer/producer! Bring an esky to keep your produce fresh until you get home. Be environmentally friendly and BYO your own bags/basket. Take the time to enjoy the market. Farmers' Markets are a great gathering place for friends and families and we are focused on creating a wonderful atmosphere for people to relax, catch-up and explore. It takes a community to raise a market, so head on down this Saturday to see what you can find at the Albury Wodonga Farmers Market!
