We are a traditional butcher shop built on quality produce. We pride ourselves on our ability to use the whole carcass of all the species we sell.

We manufacture all our small goods on site and do all our own curing, smoking and cooking.

Our Mexican Chicken Rolls are stuffed with Redgum Smoked Ham, tasty cheese and pickled jalapenos and finished off with a layer Mexican salsa sauce.

Simply in the oven @ 180c °c for 40- 45 mins.

We are open on Saturday, the 25th of April (Anzac Day), with slightly different trading hours.

We will open at 9am and close at 5pm, as usual, so we can attend the dawn service.

We have always treated Anzac Day as the most significant public holiday in our household because of Giselle's father, Bernie Eglinton, a Vietnam veteran. This man made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and continued to put his family and community first, serving as the mayor of Mount Barker for many years.

Sadly, he passed away almost 20 years ago at the age of 57 from an illness caused by exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.

This is a day when, as a family, we reflect and remember how important it was to this great man. We hope everyone understands that opening our store on this sacred day is not done out of disrespect to those who served, but is our way of surviving in a tough economic environment and serving the families who can only visit our store on a Saturday.
