APPRENTICE BUTCHER - FULL TIME

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher) to be completed during apprenticeship
- Full time: 38 hours plus agreed overtime if/when available
- Location: Gatton Meat Centre, 118 Spencer Street, Gatton
- Long term employment available for the right candidate after apprenticeship
- Award Wages
- No experience necessary

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Genuine interest in butchering and meat retail
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
- Honest, reliable and a team player
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Willing to complete a Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher), including cleaning and customer service
- Role requires manual handling tasks
- Ability to learn and follow procedures
- Available Monday to Saturday; early shifts from 5:00am; late shifts finish by 5:30pm; alternate Saturdays finishing by 2:00pm

HOW TO APPLY:

Apply in person at Gatton Meat Centre between Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm for a brief on-the-spot interview. (Sorry, no Facebook applications)

Have you got your Easter meats sorted? Pop in and we can help you. Phone orders welcome - we can discuss and then prepare your list for you to save waiting in store.

We suggest planning and ordering ahead to avoid the rush and secure your favourite products!

Please remember we close for four days every Easter (Good Friday through to and including Easter Monday) to give our whole team a rest and time with their families.
