The Taproom tonight are raising funds for the Harcourt recovery. We’ll be there. Oh, and my son Tom Candy Cox is playing which is a bonus ❤️❤️

In light of the recent fires, Fernie Nicoll is putting on a show at The Tappy to raise funds to support Harcourt in its fire recovery.

Come along to Shedshaker at The Mill Castlemaine for an evening of tunes by Kelsie Rimmer, Sean McConnell, Tom Candy Cox and Fernie Nicoll to support our wonderful community.

All funds raised will be donated directly to the Harcourt Progress Relief Fund.

$10 suggested minimum donation, FREE ENTRY for Harcourt residents.

We still can’t believe how lucky we are. This is our house. The front garden began to go and across the road is completely black. We cannot thank the CFA enough. Free tea for the CFA and the volunteers for life!! We’d also like to especially thank our neighbour John, who stayed behind and put out spot fires around the neighbourhood. It was he who got in our back yard and threw water on our burning fence and back garden. Obviously he has free tea for life also, but I think he prefers a cold beer, so no doubt he’ll be getting that !
The community from surrounds and within Harcourt continues to make me tear up. The generosity is overwhelming.
To all of our neighbours who have lost everything our hearts and thoughts are with you. Every time I drive into Harcourt I become overwhelmed. We are so sorry for your loss and only wish everything could have been saved.

The Tea Dispensary will be raising money for all affected in Harcourt when the shop is reopen and when I can think straight.

I was given some beautiful local produce today as a gift from a special lady and now we’ve clocked off, the Christmas spirit is high.

Darjeeling is back in stock 🤩

Darjeeling is probably the most curious tea to emerge from India. It’s a Chinese leaf, grown in West Bengal, flavoured with French grapes and Himalayan breezes. This is premium, OP1 grade Darjeeling. While technically a black tea, it’s less oxidized than a classic Black Assam. This makes the flavour profile way more complex: delicate florals muddled with minty-fresh mountain zephyrs and slightly tannic pops of Muscat. It’s fruity and earthy, like a good wine. Some people call Darjeeling the ‘Champagne of Teas’, but we think of it more like a gin – botanical, sweet and endlessly interesting. This particular Darjeeling is a 2nd flush from Castleton estate.
