Welcome to Hawkes Farm! Located in Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, Hawkes Farm Gate is a family run business that sells produce grown on site, as well as products from local growers. The aim of the store is to bring together great produce from around the Peninsula. A lot of our suppliers grow some of the best produce in Australia, but do not sell direct to the retail market. Our shop is a showcase of the magnificent work that the Peninsula growing community has to offer, and supplemented by the Melbourne Market so you can get just about everything you need here. We're open every day 8:00 – 5:00. Closed Christmas Day

🍻Rhiannon and Owen Rhino Tiger Bear in Dromana have brewed a beautiful European-style l***r, using Hawkes-grown Boneo barley!🌾

They’ve landed the perfect match for Hawkes hot chips and Friday night fries, with Saaz hops complementing our farm barley.

How’s it taste?! Subtle spice and refreshing floral flavours, balanced with an earthy, nutty bitterness.

The l***r will be poured at Hawkes Farm Bar every Saturday and Sunday – and burger nights when we start later this month! 

Thanks to 𝑾𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑭𝒐𝒍𝒌 for modelling the b**r - thirsty work that flowerbombing with Peninsula Wildflower ! And the flowers may have dried, but you can still come and see the tractor this weekend!

This Friday, Dawn from Peninsula Wild Flower is excited to "flowerbomb" our 1970s red Farmall tractor, transforming it into a rather spectacular floral installation right here on the lawn at Hawkes Farm.

Dawn recently took her beautiful work all the way to London, where she was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2026 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Along with a few helping hands from her team, she'll be flowerbombing the tractor from 10am – 2pm on Friday, so come down and watch the installation take shape, or catch the finished work over the weekend.

That time Farmer Richard fired up the fryer at 4am on a Wednesday for Channel 7 Sunrise at Peninsula Hot Springs ...! Come and try the hot chips this Saturday & Sunday 10am – 3pm at Hawkes Farm Kitchen (not cooked at 4am!)

Queuing can take around an hour in the middle of the day, but there's plenty to do, with all our best of local produce, Peninsula Pantry sweets, Rhino Tiger Bear w**es and spritz, and Little Rebel Coffee Roastery brews!
