Welcome to Hawkes Farm! Located in Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, Hawkes Farm Gate is a family run business that sells produce grown on site, as well as products from local growers. The aim of the store is to bring together great produce from around the Peninsula. A lot of our suppliers grow some of the best produce in Australia, but do not sell direct to the retail market. Our shop is a showc

ase of the magnificent work that the Peninsula growing community has to offer, and supplemented by the Melbourne Market so you can get just about everything you need here. We're open every day 8:00 – 5:00. Closed Christmas Day

With all the weekend activities, it's easy to forget we're a working farm – all year round... June at Hawkes Farm is a time for regeneration. You can feel the earth retaining energy and focusing inwards; providing warmth for winter veggies and preparing for another abundant spring.

It's also a time to come and grab your own plants – like "Winter Blue" a bushy perennial with soft, deep-blue flowers that thrives in fertile, moist soil and prefers sheltered spots to bring cool-toned colours to your garden during the colder months.

Be sure to buy the first issue of this awesome collab between .wine, featuring Truemans pork mince and bacon in the Crostini (page 16) and Osso Buco (page 12).

Hawkes spuds and carrots also star in the barley and winter root veg pottage pictured on the cover!
