We are delighted to introduce the first member of our West Coast Art Competition 2026 judging panel.

✨ HELETTE LOUW
Convenor of Judges • Judge • Curator

Helette is a full-time artist whose acrylic and oil paintings blend abstract-realism with bold, emotive colour and expressive energy.

Guided by a deeply intuitive and spiritual creative process, she creates from a place of peace, wholeness and authenticity. Through her Expressive Art Encounters and Prophetic Art Workshops, she inspires others to discover their own creative voice and artistic confidence.

As Convenor of Judges, Judge and Curator for the West Coast Art Competition 2026 8-Week Challenge, Helette plays an important role in maintaining the artistic vision, integrity and fairness of the competition.

As the West Coast Children's Art Competition 2026 draws to a close, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this incredible journey possible.

🏆✨ Announcing the Winners of the West Coast Children's Art Competition 2026! ✨🏆

Yesterday we had the privilege of celebrating some truly remarkable young artists at our Prizegiving Ceremony held at Blake Family Wines.

Your creativity, imagination and dedication have been an inspiration to us all.

A heartfelt congratulations also goes to every child who entered the competition. Every artwork told a unique story, and every participant showed courage by sharing their creativity with the world. You are all winners for embracing the challenge and expressing yourselves through art.

Behind the scenes, something special is happening.

Our artists have completed the first challenge of the West Coast Art Competition 2026 8-Week Challenge, and this week they have already embarked on their second creative adventure.

One of the most fascinating aspects of this competition is knowing that every artist receives exactly the same inspiration, yet no two artistic journeys are ever the same.

Some artists work quickly.

Some take time to reflect.

Some carefully plan every detail.

Others allow the artwork to reveal itself as they create.

There is no single path to creativity.

That is what makes this journey so exciting.

Over the coming weeks, our artists will continue to challenge themselves, develop their skills and discover new ways of expressing their own unique artistic voices.
