Today’s adventure took us deep into the farm 🌿

We’re busy opening up a beautiful, but rather challenging, route through some of the densest parts of the farm. We explored it with the kids today, discovering enormous rocks, magnificent old trees and amazing natural beauty.

There’s still a lot of work to do, but we’re hoping to clear the route enough to share this hidden piece of our farm with others as part of the Lowveld experiences offered at Pieker.

A little adventure, a lot of nature, and another reminder of just how much beauty is right here on our doorstep. 🌳🤎

🌱 Today’s harvest from the garden! 🥬

We have an overflow of broccolini and broccoli flowers, so I think I’ll enjoy some for my midday veggie meal and turn the rest into a chicken and broccoli pie. 😍

I’ve got plenty of energy this morning… probably because I stepped on a frog during my stroll through the garden! 🐸😂

But honestly, nothing beats picking your own food and eating straight from your garden. Fresh, simple and so rewarding! 💚

What are we doing this morning???

🥵🔥 It's hot outside… so we are making BREAD!!! 😂🥖

This morning's mission 🦸 : mix our Buckets of Blessings premix, let it do its thing, and dream about that freshly baked ciabatta or lekker potbrood next to the braai this afternoon. 🤤

Because let's be honest… no braai is complete without good bread to mop up all those delicious juices! 🙌🏼

Now the big question… CIABATTA or POTBROOD? 👀👇🏼
