Dear Somerset East Community,
It is with a mix of emotions that we announce that Daniel is stepping away from our family business to further his dreams in Johannesburg.
From early mornings at the shop to late nights ensuring that every customer had a great shopping experience at de Freitas Spar that day, Daniel's commitment has been unwavering. He has not only contributed to the growth and success of our business but has also touched the lives of so many within our community.
Although we are saddened by his departure, we are thrilled for the new opportunities that lie ahead for him and his family. Daniel will be joining Spar Pharmacy South Africa to help establish new pharmacies across the country, just as he did in our cherished town—a journey we fully support.
On behalf of the community, we want to thank Daniel for his unwavering love, dedication, and hard work invested in de Freitas Spar and Somerset East.
