Cestello D'oro Family owned and managed Italian take away restaurant, deli and catering And I like to blend organic and superfood elements.

We are an Italian take away restaurant, deli and caterers, owned and managed by family members, my mother Charmaine and myself. We cook fresh, hearty and sumptuous Italian and Mediteranean food based on traditional recipes and quality ingredients from Jozi's local markets and European imports. Mom likes to stay true to the old school method, but once in a while she infuses our dishes with a daring

touch, for example, her CVP cannellonis. We both share a common passion in food and have always wanted to share, cook and serve to people of Jozi our traditional Italian recipes passed down to my mom from Italian friends and family. We started Cestello to share our ‘basket of bounty’ of our heritage in italian cuisine made with the finest ingredients, because when it comes to food everyone deserves the best.

Hi Everybody,

This is a soft launch of the Cestello D'oro Facebook site. Our first appearance will be at Arts on main at the Sunday market, please come along and sample our food. We are putting finishing touches to our website and menu. In the meantime, we are open for business and taking orders for our deli products and ready to warm meals (lasagna and cannelloni).
