This Little Piggy is off to the abattoir.
This Little Piggy will shortly be announcing our final Sip & Social lunch (hopefully in July) after the third wave has passed - POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
We'll be celebrating our independence from the financial obligations of running our beautiful suburban deli (yes - this is also our official closing announcement for those of you who haven't already heard).
The good news? We'll have 14 seats available for a 3 course Sunday lunch (and some delicious extras) based around the liberating feeling of independence, the quality and tastes you've always known us for and one kick ass wine list to match .
Details and date to be confirmed on our socials once we have the capacity to socialize again.
The even greater news? There's 10% off all deli items from now until our official final store front day on 5th July while stocks last. We've weathered the storm as best we could but now the odds are stacked against us.
From officially opening our doors on the 19th March 2020 we couldn't have timed the closure of the restaurant, or the opening of our catering/deli space any better or worse.
We're tapping out while we still have a few creative ideas and options, a few pennies in the piggy bank and before we have to sell our kidneys on the black market to pay our cheese supplier.
It's been one helluva journey and hindsight is a beautiful thing - word to the wise - don't open a deli 10 days prior to national lockdown in 2020 when everyone's focus is on Houseparty, hoarding toilet paper and baking banana bread.
Word to the wiser - stock up on our bacon and sausages while you still can, donut Friday is still a thing, and don't forget - Kimchi is a super food - they may not have been in jeopardy like the rotisserie chickens and sandals last year but this is their final hurrah.
