GROUNDED

Sometimes, strength isn’t about pushing forward. It’s about knowing when to pause, breathe, and find yourself again.

The world can be loud, our thoughts overwhelming, and the pressure relentless. But not everything around us deserves the power to move us.

Grounded is a reminder that you can bend without breaking, pause without giving up, and find your feet again.

There comes a moment when you are ready to show the world a side of yourself they have never seen before.
A moment when you stop hiding, stop questioning, and start embracing everything you have become.
Unseen is about that feeling just before you shine. The quiet confidence of knowing there is something extraordinary within you, something the world has yet to discover.
It is about revealing a little more of yourself, having the courage to stand proudly in your own skin, and no longer feeling the need to apologise for who you are.
Because sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is allow yourself to be seen.
Not as the person others expect you to be, but as the person you have worked so hard to become.
Your light is yours. Your story is yours. And when you are ready, let them see it.
What part of yourself are you finally ready to let the world see?

HELD BY POSSIBILITIES

Some paintings begin with an image. Others begin with a question.

Held by Possibilities came from thinking about everything we carry with us, the choices we make, the things we fear, and all the possibilities that exist beyond what we can see.

Sometimes we feel trapped by our circumstances. Sometimes we are held back by our own doubts. And sometimes, strangely enough, it is the possibilities themselves that hold us in place.

This painting is about that moment between where you are and where you could be.

The uncertainty.
The hope.
The fear.
The possibility of becoming something more.

In this video, I share the story behind the painting and what it means to me.

What possibility is holding you right now?

A Fragile Balance

Sometimes we carry more than we realise.

A tiny chair. A heavy body. A delicate moment between holding on and letting go.

For me, this piece is about vulnerability, pressure, and the strange beauty of trying to keep everything together when the balance feels almost impossible.

We all have our own fragile balance.

Somewhere between falling and rising, there is a moment where everything is still possible.

Held by Possibility explores vulnerability, freedom and the uncertainty of becoming. A figure suspended in mid-air, stripped of the roles and identities we use to define ourselves, reaches toward a fragmented world of colour, memory, dreams and possibility.

Is he falling? Rising? Holding on? Letting go?

Maybe the answer matters less than the moment itself.

Deep teal and blue collide with flashes of yellow, red, orange and violet, while vertical marks pull the painting downward like rain — keeping everything in motion.

Because possibility is rarely comfortable.

Sometimes we simply have to reach toward what might be there.

This is an original JAN artwork, created as a one-of-a-kind piece for a collector who wants something more than decoration — a work with emotion, movement and a story that continues to reveal itself.

If Held by Possibility speaks to you, send me a DM for artwork details, size and availability. This original is available for acquisition.

A fragile balance.

How much weight can we carry before something gives way?

A Fragile Balance explores the uneasy space between control and vulnerability. At the centre of the painting, a man sits heavily on a chair that appears almost impossibly small beneath him.

The chair becomes more than just an object. It represents the things we rely on to hold us up — stability, control, expectations and the structures we build around ourselves.

But how long can something remain balanced when the weight becomes too great?

Then there is the bee.

Small. Almost insignificant.

Yet impossible to ignore.

Perhaps it represents hope. Luck. Possibility. A dream. Or perhaps it represents fear and uncertainty.

Maybe it is all of those things.

Because even when fear feels overwhelming, hope does not need to be large to matter.

A Fragile Balance is about more than physical weight. It is about the fears we carry, the expectations we place on ourselves, and the delicate space between where we are and where we fear we might end up.

What do you see in the bee? 🐝

The Weight of Becoming

Life isn’t won or lost in a single moment. It’s shaped by every choice, every setback, every dream we refuse to let go of.

The Weight of Becoming is an invitation to pause and meet the younger version of yourself—the one who believed anything was possible before the world told you who to become.

Ever felt the push and pull between what you keep inside and what you long to express? It My latest diptych, “Held Within & Reaching Out,” captures this universal human tension in a powerful visual dialogue.
Two figures, one conversation. One draws inward, holding energy close. The other reaches out, searching, signaling beyond itself. The vibrant colors and expressive brushwork tell a story of control and release, weight and movement, silence and expression.
They’re designed to exist together, creating a continuous flow of emotion and connection.
What story do you see?
