How many of you found recipes on the internet and Pinterest calling for TVP - Textured Vegetable Protein??

In South Africa it's referred to as Soya Mince or Soya Chunks...a versatile, affordable and convenient way off adding plant based protein in your diet.

In it's dehydrated form, it looks like cereal...once hydrated it has a "meaty" texture similar to mince.

To hydrate, simply add 1 cup of boiled water (or stock) to 1 cup of Soya Mince, cover and let it stand for about 10 minutes. Drain the excess water and use as desired.

At Purely Vegan we strive to make shopping for vegan food items convenient, easy and affordable. We work on a bi-weekly or monthly shopping basis.

We have specific order cut-off dates, enabling us to place bulk orders with suppliers bi-weekly or monthly. This gives you, the client the opportunity to do one-stop shopping once or twice a month...no more driving around from one shop to the other just to get the basics and then ending up paying a fortune for it.

We will continually add more products, but for now we will be starting off with the basics.
