The 6th edition is here, and yes, all five before it SOLD OUT. Cape Town’s most unique comedy room is back at the Atlantic Surf Collective on the West Coast. 🌊

Headlined by Keenan Cerff, with a stacked lineup:

- Sarah Abraham

- Greg Battle

That is an outrageous amount of talent on one stage.

💜Mel Jones ( Mel Jones ) needs little introduction as she headlines this year’s fundraiser. One of South Africa’s most beloved comedians, Mel knows exactly who her audience is & won’t hesitate to give you a reading. Being both fierce & fabulously hilarious, she’s sure to be the highlight of your week, not just your Wednesday.

💜Lerato Sokhulu ( Lerato Sokhulu ) is an ever stylish storyteller, captivating audiences with her charm. The KZN queen has faced many narrow escapes just trying to survive Cape Town - armed with her wit & humour. Lerato is also an admired voice on Smile 90.4 FM & acclaimed actress.

💜Candace Fortune ( Candace Fortune ) is not just hilarious, she’s also fast becoming a leading industry producer, curating the best kinds of shows. As a business woman/mom she manages a busy life that’s a H for Hectic, making Candace’s ability to laugh it all off even better.

💜 Arlene Petersen ( Arlene Petersen ) has gone from Capetonian comedian to South Africa’s funniest ‘Tiktok Cousin’. Her infectious laughter will make you feel like you’re part of the family, & the furniture, in no time. Arlene is also a caregiver & works in activist spaces, reminding us all to find joy where we can.

💜 Khanyisile Ngwenya ( Khanyisile 'Highly Favoured' Ngwenya ) makes living with a disability seem easy... a laugh a minute even. You’ve seen her on a screen near you, as she reps Soweto & makes any South African sports match seem like a comedy show too. Khanyisile might be dynamite on stage, but she’ll never miss the chance to greet you properly & ask: Le kae?

This 1-night show of leading ladies is 100% in aid of two incredible organizations: R**e Crisis Cape Town Trust & Philisa Abafazi Bethu Women and Family Center

While South Africa takes time to appreciate the freedoms those +20 k women marched for, organizations like these still need to work daily to protect women’s rights - 70 years later. The work to defend them & give women a place of refuge can’t continue without all our support.

If you can’t join us next Wednesday, ‘Donations Only’ tickets are on Quicket & proceeds go directly to continuing the cause 💜💜💜
