OMI Group is looking for an experienced Site Planner for a client in the Kinross area.
12 Months+ contract position. The position is primarily site-based, with up to 20% remote work permitted, subject to project requirements.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Kinross, Mpumalanga
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 12 Months +
Applicants must have strong project planning and scheduling experience within mining, construction or project ex*****on environments.
𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
・National Diploma
・PMP or relevant project scheduling qualification
・Experience working with P3 or P6 scheduling systems
・At least 5 years' project planning experience on mining-related or project ex*****on projects
・Experience as a Scheduler or Planner
・Project management experience
・EPCM consulting experience
・Proficiency in MS Projects
・Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
・Primavera experience will be advantageous
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
・Monitor, review and update project schedules
・Maintain the project master schedule and standard scheduling templates
・Prepare project-level schedules, progress reports and schedule assumption documents
・Track project progress, variances and forecast dates
・Develop critical paths, delay forecasts and corrective action plans
・Prepare two-week and four-week look-ahead schedules
・Develop and maintain contractor S-curves
・Assess contractor schedules and project control systems
・Prepare fabrication, delivery, construction, commissioning and handover schedules
・Interface with contractors, project managers and construction managers
・Attend project meetings and provide planning and scheduling support
・Prepare management reports showing baseline dates, current dates, variances and forecast dates
・Ensure compliance with applicable project standards, specifications, quality requirements and ISO
requirements
