From Summer 2022, Kāhu Farm will have surplus spray-free produce for sale to the community. Kāhu Farm aims to grow fresh produce that:

- is grown without synthetic chemicals

- has a lighter impact on the environment than intensive methods of mono-crop production (more of a regenerative approach)

- reduces reliance on lengthy and increasingly disrupted supply chains down here in the rural South


- captures the higher quality and nutritional value of produce grown with an extremely short supply chain (time from harvest to customer is much shorter)

- reduces the impact on the environment by minimising carbon miles across such a short supply chain.

- provides a convenient way for the community to support small growers and farmers in the area
