Young makers, this one’s for you 🌱

Applications for our 2026 Young Roots program are now open. This is for kids aged 8-15 in our community who are creating their own products and ready to step into the world of small business at the Woodstock Farmers Market.

If you’ve got something you make (that isn't food) and a drive to share it, we want to see it.

Every spring, honey bee swarms start appearing in neighborhoods across the country. Most people who spot one don't know who to turn to and end up contacting pest control. Beeswarmed.org puts people in touch with a local beekeeper who is happy to catch the bees and give the colony a hive where they can survive and thrive.

The next Woodstock Farmers Market will be held on Saturday, March 14th, from 9 AM – 1 PM at All Seasons Orchard.

We’ll have live music by Matt Krahula starting at 10 AM, so come ready to enjoy some tunes while you shop. Bring your appetite & your grocery list: fresh produce, baked goods, locally raised meat & eggs, and all your market favorites will be waiting.

We’re are currently accepting applications for the Young Roots Entrepreneur Program, Market Vendors, and Nonprofit Organizations.
We are especially looking for food producers (commercial kitchen only) and artisans (that make their goods from scratch) to join our community.

A special call this year: we are especially looking for FOOD PRODUCERS.
If you create specialty food items in a licensed commercial kitchen; unique baked goods, sauces, packaged treats, unique provisions ... we would love to see your application.
Of course, we are reviewing and considering vendors of all kinds, so don’t hesitate to apply if you feel aligned with our market.

Quick reminder, friends! The Woodstock Farmers Market is running on an every other week schedule while we’re cozy indoors. We’ll be back to our weekly rhythm once we head back outside in May.

The Woodstock Farmers Market is designed to be a welcoming and focused environment centered on local food producers and the community members who support them. To keep the space respectful and enjoyable for everyone, we host a small number of nonprofit organizations each season that have been vetted through our application process. These spots are complimentary and require proper nonprofit documentation, and all materials must remain non-political and non-religious in nature.

We are not an open public forum, and as a privately organized market operating in rented space, we are not able to allow individuals or groups to arrive unannounced to distribute information, collect signatures for petitions, or engage in advocacy of any kind. This policy applies consistently to all organizations.

We hope our community understands that these guidelines help preserve the purpose of the market: connecting people with local food, farmers, and makers in a relaxed and uninterrupted setting. We encourage interested groups to apply when our applications open in February.

The Woodstock Farmers Market is every other week till summer, and we are back on Saturday, January 17th from 9am–1pm at All Seasons Orchard.

Think fresh-roasted coffee beans for slow mornings, local honey that actually tastes like where we live, spices that wake up your soups, warm bread and pastries, cheeses, eggs, winter greens, plus batters, sauces, and dressings … all the small things that make home feel extra lived-in.

This week, music will be provided by Emma Joseph, making winter shopping feel less like a chore and more like a small-town Saturday worth lingering in.

Winter markets are basically self-care disguised as grocery shopping. Come support the growers, bakers, roasters, and makers keeping our town fed through the cold months…and go home with a pantry that wants you to stay in and cook.
