We are a multigenerational small family farm (200 acres with approximately 100 head), that has been operated since 1943. Alex and Francis Hargot operated the farm from 1943 to 1973. Roger and Patricia Hargot operated the farm from 1973-2016. Chris and Megan Hargot from 2016-present. Chris and Megan are veterans and active members within our community. Chris is a veteran of The Marine Corps and Meg

an is still currently serving in the Army National Guard. We are active with in the Lublin American Legion Post 547. We strive to sell quality meat that is raised using ecologically sound practices, such as management intensive rotational grazing, composting of manure, and protection of waterways. We create a low stress environment for our cattle using Silvo pasture (integrating trees into pasture), mobile windbreak/shade sheds, mobile watering, and under population. This means our cattle are always on fresh pasture with proper access to water and have protection from the elements when needed. We have minimized any medications and antibiotics given to the animals. Also, we do not use hormones. All of the meat we sell is 100% grass fed, and we eat what we sell.

We have the chicken back from the butcher! All packages are vacuumed sealed. $5 a pound for wholes. Prices for rest will be coming shortly.

The Marshfield Farmers Market is launching soon, on May 23rd. We plan to participate, offering an array of products including fresh chicken eggs, grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured pork, and chicken starting in June. Additional items available will include herb lard, lard, beef tallow, sheep tallow, cowboy candy, homemade soap and a selection of salsas - hot, mild, and sweet.
