Hosted by the Friends of Winterset Parks and Recreation, this FREE program will take you all across Winterset - from parks and trails to local favorites and hidden gems.

Each week, we’ll share simple photo challenges you can complete at your own pace, and you might even see your photos featured on our page! 📸✨

What a great day at the Madison County Farmers Market! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out, shopped local, visited vendors, volunteers, grabbed flowers, treats, books, and spent part of your Saturday morning with us on the courthouse lawn.

Thank you for bringing your flower pots! If you missed it theyll be back too!

A special thank you to everyone who donated blood with the Blood Drive today. Your donation truly makes a difference. Thank you to all the walkins.

We also want to thank all of our volunteers who helped make the morning run smoothly, and a big thank you to the for bringing the live pottery wheel demo to the market. It was such a fun and unique addition for visitors to watch!

If you missed it, don’t worry — there will be another chance to see the pottery wheel live at the market later this summer, and another chance to donate blood at a future market.

Thank you again for supporting local farmers, makers, small businesses, nonprofits, and community. We’ll see you next Saturday! will be playing live and kids activity includes scavenger hunts in the courthouse!

🌸 will be at the market with beautiful flower baskets that match the downtown hanging baskets you’ve been seeing around Winterset.

Start your morning right by snagging your favorite latte from Petite and a fresh donut from The Bakery Unlimited, then stroll the market, visit your favorite vendors, and enjoy a beautiful Saturday downtown. There’s even a game of bags set up to challenge your friends!

Don’t forget — you can also grab a Madison County Farmers Market tote for just $15 while you’re there!

After the thunderstorms come the rainbows 🌈

Tomorrow’s Madison County Farmers Market is shaping up to be a beautiful one! Join us Saturday, May 16th from 8 AM – Noon on the Madison County Courthouse Lawn in Winterset for fresh flowers, local food, handmade goods, community fun & almost 40 of your favorite vendors.

Have you noticed the gorgeous new petunia pots blooming around the courthouse square? 🌸 A huge shoutout to the for helping make our community look incredible this spring and summer!

Want some of those same stunning flowers at home? 🌺 Greenhouse will be at the market with beautiful petunias and flower pots available for purchase — including the same colorful blooms brightening up Winterset right now.
