This is my favorite time of year because we get to eat fresh salsa as much as we want! Starville Onions, heirloom tomatoes, and a couple of jalapeños... mm-mmm!

These 2 pictures seem terribly unrelated at first glance.

The screen shot is fairly self explanatory, especially for those of you who have faithfully prayed for Bossman over the last several months. One thing I've been more aware of is how important it is to actually say things. I've said before I have the social skills of a wet cat. I can make almost any interaction awkward really fast! Because of that, I often hold back compliments because I'm not sure how they will be recieved. That's a thing I'm working on lately.

The second picture is a tiny note that fell out of a journal today. I was trying to remember details for another story time video, so I was digging through my diaries from 16 years ago. I didn't find the story I was looking for, but I found this scrap of paper that was once dropped on the table by the scales where I was working. No explanation. No words. Just a paper.

Memories are like that sometimes. There's no explanation for *why* we remember what we do. Maybe there aren't even words for the memory; not even enough information to tell the story. Just a little scrap of a feeling or a thought.

Brandon says I remember things better than most people. I think that might be because I've met some pretty awesome folks that are worth remembering.

As always, keep the prayers coming for my Bossman. The world is better with certain people in it. If you've ever met Kerby I'm sure you would agree he is one of those people. ❤️

It's 10pm.

We're down an employee (church camp) and we miss him, a lot!

We didn't get everything done, and that's just going to have to be ok. We'll finish washing eggs, and get showers, and run some laundry, and eventually go to bed. The rest will have to wait!
