Good morning! This weekend we will have a limited edition Honeycrisp Apple Cider! We have samples available so try some refreshing and very sweet on a beautiful weather stretch here in the northern Shenandoah Valley.

(Note-Jet Spray had water in it to clean in picture. We assure you it's cider today!😁)

Good Thursday morning everyone! The rain was very welcome in our area and we should be able to HEAR everything growing today. Here is this weekend's Market Update...

1. We will have plenty of Strawberries and Blueberries this weekend. Due to our roller coaster spring weather, there will not be any local remaining. These are excellent taste and quality from Rocky Mount, NC. Demand is still strong so we'll bring in the best we can find. Hopefully our local summer crops fare better. PA asparagus also available this weekend.

2. We received our first plums from South Carolina. They are Methley and excellent flavor in a small plum. Try one! We have plenty of high quality SC Peaches all weekend also.

3. VA Peanuts have been restocked!

4. Cantaloupes and Watermelons continue to get better each week.

5. We have a new Slushy machine so both Peach and Cherry are available again.

6. And finally...the world famous VFM cardboard box is back in house!

Open 8am-530pm today. 8am-630pm Friday -Sunday.

Good Saturday morning everyone! It's cool and damp but don't let the dreary weather stop you from enjoying the weekend.
We have Hot Apple Cider and Broad Porch Coffee available with out hot Apple Cider Donuts and pies.

And to provide a little heat in a different way, we will be sampling our Hot Sauces today! Each bottle is $5.99 each and we definitely have something to fit your level of heat. Stop in and try some on this cooler holiday weekend!

It's Friday and a Holiday Weekend! Here's this week's market update...

1. The weather may be damp but we really need and appreciate the rain!
2. First green tomatoes have arrived!
3. Cantaloupes have arrived as well as seeded and seedless watermelons. And they are excellent.
4. South Carolina peaches are in full swing and high quality.
5. We have asparagus this weekend! Come early as it sells quickly.
6. Blueberries from the Carolinas this weekend but we were unable to get strawberries. A few remain locally but not enough for us.
7. The new Virginia Farm Market coffee cups have arrived!
8. Peach baskets are available for sale as well as these pink 2 quart baskets! Great for around the house. Glass jugs are still available 2/$1. Ask about bulk quantities! Gallon and half gallon.
9. We will be having a Hot Sauce Tasting this weekend. Details tomorrow!

So, remember those cool old style magnets your grandparents had on their Kelvinator refrigerator door with all the states they visited? We now have them for our local 4 state area! We also have a Virginia License Plate magnet.

And we now have the Virginia Farm Market Stickers!

We welcome to all the folks participating in the N-SSA events in Gainesboro today!

With the arrival of peaches from the south, our inventory of Golden Delicious and Fuji Apples are winding down. We believe we have enough to get to Memorial Day. Get them while you can!
