Someday this portion of our farm will have a fenced in area for my goats. Nigerian dwarf goats to be exact! To say that I can hardly wait, is an understatement! NDG’s are sweet and cuddly as well as are producers of delicious milk. We will drink the milk itself (it may be difficult to get my teenagers to switch from cows milk) and make cheese, yogurt and soaps from the milk. But until that time comes, I can sit here in my chair and enjoy the gorgeous view during the most beautiful time of the year. Peace and goodwill to all. ♥️

Our beautiful bees not only pollinated our gardens but also gave us over 5 gallons of the most delicious honey I have ever tasted.

We have a long way to go but our first success was our chickens! During the summer months we were getting 8-10 eggs per day! The different colors come from different breeds of chickens. We purchased our chicks and coop from www.mypetchicken.com. The babies actually came in the mail!
