This Saturday was another reminder that the Brandywine Park Farmers Market is about more than what you take home in your tote bag.

With 30+ local vendors set up in the park, every coffee poured, loaf of bread bought, flower bouquet carried, and bag of produce picked up helped support the small businesses, farms, makers, and neighbors who keep our local economy moving.

When you shop local, that money stays closer to home. It supports real people, strengthens the community around us, and helps create the kind of neighborhood spaces we all want to keep showing up for.

Thank you for spending your Saturday morning with us, supporting local, and pouring back into the community that pours so much into this market.

Every Saturday, the market gives us a reason to get outside and pour back into the place we call home.

The Brandywine Park Farmers Market is more than local produce and goods. It is women showing up for walk club at 8AM and grabbing coffee at the market afterwards, families spending the morning in the park, neighbors meeting farmers by name, dogs getting all the attention, and small businesses becoming part of the rhythm of the community.

When you shop local, about 68 cents of every dollar stays within the local economy — supporting jobs, local families, and the people behind the goods you bring home.

Due to weather conditions, the Brandywine Park Farmers Market will be CANCELLED this Sunday, May 24th.

This decision was not made lightly. With the forecast, vendor concerns around preparing inventory, and multiple vendors already needing to cancel, we wanted to make the best decision possible for our community, vendors, volunteers, and everyone involved before the weekend begins.

Thank you all for continuing to show up for local. We’ll see everyone back in the park soon. 🖤

The season is well underway — and we still have so many markets ahead. All the dates in one place!

From Women-Only walk clubs in the park to supporting local farms, makers, and small businesses, thank you for continuing to show up week after week and helping this market grow into something so special for Wilmington. A market that will stay a weekly ritual for years to come.

Start your morning with the Women-Only Walk Club at 8AM — a welcoming way to move through the park, connect with other women, and begin the day surrounded by community.
