Farmers Market at Poplar Grove

Bluegrass in the Grove is just a week away, Saturday June 13th! Come on out to the Grove and enjoy 10 bands with headliner Mason Via taking the big, outdoor stage at 7pm...we've got a full day of great music, contra dancing and jam sessions along with food and concessions starting at 10am....bands play from 11am to 8pm and advance tickets are $25 ($30 at the gate) and kids 12 and under are free!
Bring a lawn chair (no tents or canopies allowed), your dancing shoes and settle in for a great day of music and community! Please, no outside food or coolers..no alcohol and no doggos for this event. (Service dogs allowed)...for tickets and details check out www.poplargrove.org!

This is going to be an AWESOME day full of music, food and community…10 bands playing including MASON VIA…full adult beverages barn, dancing lounge, food trucks…come for the day or for a few hours…loads of parking with overflow at Scott’s Hill Baptist Church behind us…tickets available now for $25 at www.poplargrove.org and at the gate for $30…kids 12 and under are freeee! This week's vendor lineup! It's going to be an absolutely picture-perfect morning for the market and we hope you come out and join us...remember, the lower grounds are FREE to explore during the market hours, The Shoppes at Poplar Grove are open so make sure you pop in and shop and/or pick up a cuppa coffee from Renea and the Grumpy Grandpa's Coffee crew...guided tours of the 1850's manor house are at 9:30am and 11:00am, tickets can be purchased at the market in the little wooden tiki hut and Well-Fed Ed foodtruck has the cure for the morning munchies...always so much to do at Poplar Grove so come on out and enjoy the morning with us! Market runs from 9-1 every Wednesday....

The EPIC Bluegrass throwdown is just 2 weeks away and time to get those tickets! Hosted by Dear Maribella and the Pigkickers with headliner Mason Via and an awesome array of bluegrass acts taking the stage from 11am to 8pm....Cape Fear Contra Dancers will also be here as well as Earl Jones Music pickin' in the gazebo...food trucks are lined up as well as a full service adult beverage barn...tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate and kids 12 and under are free! It's almost that time of week! Please join us tomorrow for our second Open-Air Wednesday market of the season...plan to make a morning of it as we not only have the beautiful market to shop at but the Shoppes at Poplar Grove are also open so stop by and pick up a specialty coffee at Grumpy Grandpa's Coffee, or an herbal tea at Queen Esther Teas and you have to add The Hive on The Hill mercantile to your shopping list as well! Tomorrow we also have 3 artists in the lineup that will be offering workshops at The Grove so make sure when you're walking the market you stop by A Modern Twist (yarn dying), Autumn Day Blacksmith (blacksmithing) and Turul Culture (archery and leather working) to shop and check out their workshop signups.
The 1850's Manor House is open for tours, tickets available onsite and guided tours are at 9:30am and 11:00 am. Look for Well Fed Ed foodtruck and we'll be in the little wooden stand to the left of him.
The grounds are also open and free to explore and there are lots of shady nooks to relax in...we'll see you tomorrow from 9-1 at Poplar Grove! (10200 Hwy 17, Wilmington 28411 in Scotts Hill)
