Today is the day last batch of this year is heading to the freezer we do still have some birds for sale from our first batch in June along with a few from this batch if you are looking for some whole chickens

We have been busy lately with volunteering at VBS this week. I’m hoping to have more yummy items on hand in a few weeks! We’ll be back at the farmers market July 18th after some family fun and holiday celebrations!!

We are all setup for our first market if this summer at the Farmers market in first located right in front of the goodness coffee shop

Our laying flock has been living the sunshine. We have a lot of eggs for sale. $5 per dozen, come to the farm to pick them up.

We have around 100 meat birds ready for the freezer. We will be culling this next week. Let us know if you’d like to get on the list for some fresh birds!!!

101 birds out on fresh grass. They’ve been weaned off the heat lamps at night now and have learned to move with the tractors to fresh grass daily. We’re planning on butchering Memorial Day weeken and this whole batch will be available to buy.

The birds sure are growing up have them split into 2 separate chicken tractors right now and they will get split into the 3rd tractor this week leaving 30-35 birds per tractor which will give them plenty of room to keep growing
