Yes, we’ve come to the end of October, and Thursday will be our last day in Bud Snider Park. Next week we move into the Grange. Tomorrow, though, you will find us on the north side of the park, at Humboldt and State Streets. Our hours year ‘round are 3 to 5:30 PM. There’s still lots of produce, lots of local meat from Eastside and Inland ranches. Lots of local prepared food too. We honor EBT and WIC cards and will provide Market Bucks to those who are short on cash in exchange for a swipe of your credit or debit card.

Farmers Market is open rain or shine and this week (and next) we will be in the park as we have been all season. A little rain, a cool day don’t get in the way of your access to fresh produce from the farms in our area. There’s hot food, cold food, locally made gelatto and cookies, arts and crafts. Join us in Bud Snider Park, at Humboldt and State Streets, from 3 to 5:30 PM.

We honor EBT and WIC cards and we’ll swipe your credit or debit card and give you market bucks for use with any vendor.

We are in the park for an unseasonably hot day but expect cooling breezes! We’ll be there the rest of the month, then move into the Grange November 5th. Still lots of vendors, lots of food. We exchange market chips for EBT cards and double your benefits, offer WIC card holders extra benefits, too, and we’ll swipe your credit or debit card if you’re cash short and give you market bucks to use for any product.

This Thursday, October 1st at Willits Farmers Market 3-5:30 (5 markets left at Bud snider park)

Yes, we’re still in the park, Humboldt and State Streets, through the end of the month. Then we go indoors to the Grange. All your favorite vendors. All your favorite foods. Except dairy, which the State of California thinks too dangerous for local production. But wait! We now have a local dairy producer who brings goat milk gelatto to market. And there’s lots of produce — we’re even harvesting under the Harvest Moon (just kidding) — and lots of local meat, plus eggs, prepared foods, cold drinks, and crafts.

We honor EBT and WIC cards, and we still have funds for extra benefits for WIC card holders and qualifying seniors. We can also provide Market Bucks in exchange for a swipe of your credit or debit card.

Summer’s not over yet, nor is the summer produce. In fact, the major harvests of the year continue on into October (that’s why October’s moon is the Harvest Moon). So come on out. Your body wants fresh vegetables of all sorts, now. And local meat and prepared foods by locals chefs and cooks, and local crafts. Music too. We’re open 3 to 5:30 PM every Thursday.

There is local meat, too, from careful, dedicated farmers, prepared foods both hot and cold, and local crafts.
