It’s not crazy if it works. I have done this many times in various bare spots. Works like a charm.

1. Identify area of need
2. Apply wood chips
3. Cover in fresh cut grass
4. Gather desired seeds
5. Spread generously
6. Water with rainwater
7. Wait and watch it grow
