🔶 What is NuMarket?

NuMarket utilizes local customer support for small, food-based businesses by growing capital for immediate needs: opening a new space, replacing worn-out equipment, making repairs, whatever it may be!

♦️ What does being a ‘Regular’ mean?

Being a Regular means buying in at any monetary level and receiving 120% back in credit to use in person at Treats. That credit will be made available to you in six increments, starting one month after the campaign ends (June 1, 2026). These credits will never expire.

🔹 What does being a ‘Member’ mean?

Buying in at the $300 level or above makes you a Member. While also receiving 120% in credit, the Member level includes special TREATment: a members only soft opening event, invitations to private tastings, and the inside scoop when something limited is available. Those perks will be offered for our inaugural year, and only 20 spots remain. It’s an opportunity not to be missed!

Hi! It’s us, Emily and Joe! We’re the new owners of Treats, and it’s kind of a dream come true. Stacy and team created something incredible in this space over the last TWENTY years, and we can’t wait to build upon it. This will be the best place to see what we're up to on a regular basis. In addition, we're working on a new website and will have more updates to come—stay tuned! ✨

If you have been following this account it’s going back to TREATS! There has been some untying of digital strings which is a tad complicated when you have sold a business! TREATS in Wiscasset is very much open and pumping out awesome food daily. So stay tuned as this is going back to TREATS. Hello to our wonderful community!

It is with great joy and a little bit of mixed feelings that Ryan and I have sold TREATS!
It is our 20 year anniversary to this day and we are so excited that an amazing couple from Edgecomb are stepping in to take the helm of this amazing and iconic bakery and community space! Though we will miss the daily energy of our customer base it is time for some new growth both personally and for TREATS. I believe the new owners will provide the energy needed to move TREATS forward. Many of our staff will be staying on to help ease this transition and I will certainly be around.
Joeseph Swifka and Emily Hughes have over 20 + years in the food and retail industry. Their knowledge of wine, cheese and food is rooted in local community and sustainability. They have both currently been at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, ME.
Joe was the head chef and Emily was in the garden shop.
If you are traveling with me in 2026 there are no changes in that area, only that my trip offerings will expand!
Again it has been a great pleasure in serving this community through food and a joyful space. Please welcome the new owners to the community!
