1. Reverse Sear
• Slow-cook the steak in the oven at a low temperature, then finish by searing it in a hot cast iron skillet or on the grill for a crispy, caramelized crust.
• Tip: Let it rest for 5-10 minutes after searing for a juicy interior.
2. Grilled Tomahawk
• Sear both sides of the steak over direct, high heat, then move to indirect heat to cook until desired doneness. Add a smoky flavor by grilling with wood chips.
• Tip: Baste with herb butter during grilling for extra richness.
3. Oven-Baked
• Rub the tomahawk with oil, garlic, and herbs, then bake in a preheated oven at 375°F until the internal temperature reaches your preferred doneness.
• Tip: Finish with a quick broil for a crispy crust.
4. Sous Vide
• Seal the tomahawk in a vacuum bag with butter, herbs, and garlic, and cook it in a water bath at the desired temperature (around 130°F for medium-rare), then sear in a hot pan.

Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor! Try our Traditional Vietnamese Crispy Pork Belly (Thit Heo Quay) recipe this week – grab some pork belly, make it at home, and enjoy a delicious meal with your family!!

🔥Traditional Vietnamese Crispy Pork Belly (Thit Heo Quay) Recipe🐷:

Ingredients:
1 lb pork belly (skin on)
1 tbsp five-spice powder
2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp white vinegar
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp soy sauce

1. Prepare Pork Belly: Clean the pork belly and pat dry. Using a sharp knife, score the pork skin in a crisscross pattern (be careful not to cut into the meat).
2. Marinate Meat: Flip the pork belly over so the skin is down. Rub the meat side with five-spice powder, sugar, garlic powder, and pepper. Avoid getting spices on the skin.
3. Dry the Skin: Flip the pork belly back, pat the skin dry, and rub with salt. Poke holes into the skin with a fork or skewer to help it crisp.
4. Rest & Dry: Refrigerate the pork belly uncovered for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) to allow the skin to dry out.
5. Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pork belly on a wire rack over a baking tray. Roast for about 40-50 minutes.
6. Broil: Increase the oven temperature to 450°F (230°C) or use the broil setting. Broil the pork belly for another 10-15 minutes until the skin is crispy and puffy.
7. Rest & Serve: Let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with rice, dipping sauce, or in banh mi.
