Repotting these persimmon trees and bell peppers for this weekend! So if you don’t mind playing the long game, you can start enjoying fresh persimmons in about 10 years 😂

We are back home and I’m back in the kitchen! The weekend was a great getaway and I got to pick wild mountain blackberries to bring home to the boys. Getting some light baking in today, but I’m mostly getting the house cleaned and ready to bake for the weekend. I’ll also be prepping to test a new sourdough inclusion idea. So stay tuned, as I’ll be seeking taste testers who will receive a FREE mini loaf of the new flavor in exchange for your brutally honest feedback! I need to know if I’m going too far into mad scientist territory or if I need to push the envelope even further.

Good morning everyone! Tomorrow is my birthday, and Mr. T&D and I are heading out of town for the weekend! But, to celebrate, I have put out a few treats that are completely free! I have chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodle cookies, and pecan sticky buns. So swing by 101 Carousel St West End for a free sweet treat!

I also just restocked Brim Cafe for the weekend with Cherry Jubilee and Cookie Butter rolls!

SOLD OUT!
We have officially sold out for the weekend, mostly due to the neighborhood boys buying up all the sweets😂 But seriously, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! This has been and continues to be an amazing experience and journey for the T&D family.
As a thank you, I will have a little pop up on Friday as long as supplies last. Some items will be for sale, but there will also be a basket or two of free goodies. I will also be restocking Brim Cafe throughout the week with cinnamon rolls, cookie butter rolls, and pecan sticky buns. As always, if I can make anything special for you, don’t hesitate to send me a message, I’d love to bake for you! Have a great week and we will see you again soon!

I thought I had baked plenty for the weekend, and you all proved me wrong yesterday! I had 10 loaves, two dozen rolls, 10 bags of cookies, bagels and English muffins, 9 brownies, and this is what we have left for today! Every week I am beyond grateful that I get to do this and you all continue to come out and support me.

Just as an announcement: next weekend is my birthday, and it’s a big one! That being said, we will be out of town from Friday-Monday so the stand will not be open. If there’s anything I can make for you before then, please reach out and let me know!

Since we’re finally settled into the house and in a good routine after 3 years, it’s time to bring back another favorite hobby of mine: gardening! My blueberry and blackberry bushes won’t be ready to fruit for a couple more years, and the paw paw trees need several more years, but I will have bell peppers, hot peppers, and cherry tomatoes on the stand this year. I’ll also have little baby bell pepper plants to take home and grow yourself here soon!

Lots and lots of good stuff for you this weekend! We have lots of fresh sourdough, three flavors of cinnamon rolls, both bagels AND English muffins, cookies, gluten friendly brownies, and farm fresh eggs from Academy Ranch! Can’t wait for the weekend to get your T&D fix? Brim in Pinehurst now carries our cinnamon rolls! Just stocked them with my regular and my cherries jubilee rolls this morning, and they will have a blueberry lemon roll tomorrow! While you’re there, I highly recommend the Bee Sting bagel, it’s delicious!
I will also have the cherries jubilee rolls on the stand tomorrow, as well as TWO new flavors! And remember: we open at 11am through the summer! See you all tomorrow!
