We've been busy here on the farm.
We got most of our garden planted.
I was happy to see volunteer ground cherries growing again this year.
We planted some pole beans next to the the clothes line tower. I'm curious to see how high they climb up it.
We'll get our potatoes in the ground this weekend. I'm also waiting for a few pepper plants to show up in the mail tomorrow or friday.
Chickens are growing fast.
We might be butchering a few in 2 or 3 weeks.

Homegrown pork chops and green beans from the garden last year and Jude made cheeeezzzy mataters from leftover salt mataters.
Gert and I went and dug leeks for pickling so I fried some of them up too.

You ain't gonna find pork chops like these in the grocery store.
