💡Producer Spotlight: Hamilton Family Farms 🐓
Josh and Faith Hamilton, along with their three children, Brooklynn, Sadie, and baby Rhett, own Hamilton Homestead in Frederick, Illinois, a small town just outside of Rushville.
Their homestead began with a simple goal: providing fresh eggs for their growing family. Starting with just a few laying hens was an affordable way to begin raising livestock on smaller acreage while creating a direct connection to the food they served at their own table.
Over time, those few hens grew into hundreds of laying hens and meat birds, allowing the Hamiltons to provide their family with fresh, local, high-quality eggs and poultry. Their passion for homegrown food has also expanded into raising hogs, continuing their commitment to producing food they can feel proud to serve.
The Hamilton family believes in a shorter food chain and in knowing exactly where your food comes from. They value transparency, quality, and supporting a more local approach to feeding their family and community.
We are proud to offer Hamilton Homestead’s fresh, pasture-raised chicken here at the market.
