The Giving Garden

The Giving Garden The Giving Garden is ran by Wauconda FBLA and is located at the Wauconda Farmer's Market, where all the proceeds we make go to the local Food Pantry.

The Giving Garden is a non-profit organization that is ran by Wauconda High School FBLA. It is exactly what the name implies, giving! We receive donations each week from local gardeners, and we sell this produce at the Farmer's Market every Thursday. One hundred percent of the proceeds we make at the booth are then donated to the Wauconda/Island Lake food pantry, and any food that is not sold will

then be made into a soup that is donated to the PADS organization in order to provide for the homeless. The Giving Garden's main mission is to "give back to the community one vegetable at a time" and to give back to those who truly need it.
