We’ve been busy on the farm, but we had to share some exciting news from our friends at Vaughn Faye Farms - Petting Zoo! Remember Missy from our petting zoo? You know the mama-to-be who may have stolen a couple of your donuts last fall? She gave birth to a beautiful c**t early Saturday morning!

Everyone meet Finn, the most handsome Belgian boy! We were so excited to come snuggle him yesterday, and he is just as sweet as can be. Missy is doing amazing, and they said she’s been the best mama 🤍

🍎HELP WANTED! 🍎

We are hiring for temporary help pruning apple trees. Must be able to commit to the next 4 Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30-4 p.m. Must be 18 or older. Previous experience a bonus, but not required. Pay is minimum wage. Please pm us or email us at: [email protected]

Last week, Shane attended a conference down in Springfield where he had the opportunity to enter our cider into the Illinois Cider Contest. We are excited to announce that we placed 2nd in the contest! Honey Hill was mentioned on page 5 of Farm Week this week. 🍎🍏

If any local farmers need pumpkins for livestock, we still have plenty of nice pumpkins out there that are free for the taking! Must pickup and load yourself by tomorrow (Tuesday) evening before we start discing the fields. Please pm us to set up a pickup time!

We are officially closed for the season! We would like to thank everyone who visited us, and for continuing to support our small family business.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our awesome employees. We truly could not do this without them. They’ve earned some much needed rest! 🤍
