Pete's Stand

This year, we would like to thank our Cheshire County Veterans by partnering with Pete's Stand to offer Thanksgiving turkeys to veterans free of charge!

Orders are due by November 4th and must be picked up in Walpole on November 24th or 25th.

Turkeys are only available as supplies last. Scan the QR code on the flyer or fill out this form, https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc0ntBfmoClKry3hb-9v1j_hVb1AQQyGoMGxrq5tE3GHWLVYQ/viewform?usp=dialog

It's hard to believe, but it's time to reserve your fresh, VT grown turkey! Here's how it works: stop in the farm before Sunday, Nov. 8th and reserve your turkey: let us know what size turkey you would like & what day you will be picking up. A $25 deposit will go toward the cost of your turkey. You can choose any date between Thursday, Nov. 19th and Wednesday, Nov. 25th to pick up; we will have Christmas trees, wreaths, and roping available to pick up at that time too!

Open 9-6 daily, including this coming Monday! Come "fill a wagon" of pumpkins with us! Photo (for attention) is a rouge vif d'etampes heirloom cooking pumpkin.
We will be open 9-6 daily with the following exceptions: closing at 4pm on Oct. 31st, closed Thanksgiving Day. Then moving to "Christmas tree" hours 10-6 daily beginning Friday, Nov. 27th until we close for the season in mid-December.

Welcome to October! 🎃 The pumpkin harvest is going strong and, while we can't promise we'll be able to do this every year, we're happy to announce we're starting our "fill a wagon" pumpkin sale again this weekend! Fill one of our carts with carving, heirloom, or sugar pumpkins (gourds and hubbard squash included) for $35. Winter squash now available by the bushel, and we're now taking orders for fresh, Vermont-grown Thanksgiving turkeys! We will post details in a few days (or check our website www.petesstand.com)

They're not the most photogenic, but we are *so* excited to have fresh sweet potatoes available at the stand! They are grown by Four Rex Farm in Hadley.

Rain or shine, we will be open our usual 9-6 this weekend- the forecast is looking gloomy to say the least, but we will still have a great selection of fall produce- apples (Cortland, Mac, Macoun, Honeycrisp), winter squash, potatoes, onions, and the first sweet potatoes of the season. "Summer" vegetables are still coming on strong- cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and much more! We've already had lots of inquiries about our Thanksgiving turkey orders for this year, we will be getting that information out to you as soon as we have delivery dates and pricing available.

It's time- "Silver Queen" is ready! We have both butter and sugar "Kate" and all white "Silver Queen"- now is a great time to pick up a bushel to freeze for winter. While you're here, take a stroll through the pumpkins and mums and pick up some apples- Autumn, our favorite time of year at Pete's Stand has arrived! 🥳 🎉

We're open every day this Labor Day weekend (and Monday too)- stop by and pick up some gourds, winter squash, cornstalks, and (of course) pumpkins to welcome in Fall! Your summer favorites are still abundant- corn tomatoes, cucumbers and more- and we still have NH grown peaches!
