🌻🎃 SUNSET HILL UPDATE! 🎃🌻

The stand will be RESTOCKED THIS EVENING! 🙌

We are officially entering the “holy crap, we have A LOT of vegetables” portion of the season. 😂🥒🍅🌶️ We’re approaching final harvest on a bunch of things, so we’ll keep stocking the stand as long as the garden keeps giving. At this rate, canning season may be starting soon! 🫙😂

🎃 Our pumpkin patch isn’t cooperating quite yet, so we’re not expecting a huge pumpkin harvest anytime soon. We’ll be bringing in some pumpkins and other fall goodies to make sure we don’t miss out on the fun.

👻 And THIS WEEKEND… the Halloween/haunted trail setup begins! 🕷️🎃 Things are about to get spooky around Sunset Hill!

🥚 The Girls are also slowing down a bit with the shorter days and cooler weather. We’re doing everything we can to keep them happy, healthy and well-fed so they keep those eggs coming!

We’re getting a LOT of rain today, so we’re going to keep things a little lighter in the stand to protect everything from getting soaked.

BUT… WE’RE STILL OPEN! ❤️

If there’s something specific you’re looking for, just DM us, text us, or knock on the door and we’ll be happy to help you out.

We should have today’s harvest finished and ready by noon, so keep an eye out for what’s fresh!

🍂🎃 HELLO, FALL… WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU! 🎃🍂

First things first… we owe you guys an apology for being a little MIA this weekend! We had family in town, life got busy, and Doug was pretty much down for the count most of the weekend. 😂❤️

BUT… we’re back! And the Sunset Hill Homestead Farmstand will be fully stocked ALL WEEK! 🥚🍅🥒🍑🍯

Looking for something specific? Message us! If we have it, we’ll get it in the stand. If we don’t have it, we’ll do our best to track it down. 😉

And now for the really important stuff…

🎃 HALLOWEEN SEASON IS COMING.
Our absolute FAVORITE holiday is slowly taking over Sunset Hill. Decorations are starting to make their appearance, and our haunted trail will be coming together soon. 👻🕷️

🎃 THE PUMPKIN PATCH:
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that those little vines finally decide to cooperate and start producing some pumpkins! 😂 We have high hopes… and possibly unrealistic expectations. 🤣

🥐 THE COTTAGE BAKERY TEST KITCHEN:
There’s a chance our little bakery experiment could make a comeback toward the end of the month. Keep your eyes peeled… because if Baby Jane Dough has anything to say about it, there may be some very dangerous amounts of cinnamon, butter and carbs coming your way. 😏

So stop by, grab some farm-fresh goodies, say hello, and watch Sunset Hill slowly turn into our favorite time of year.

Fall is coming. Halloween is coming. The haunted trail is coming. And apparently… so are the pumpkins. 🎃😂

🌻 WE’RE OPEN ALL DAY TODAY! 🌻

The farmstand is stocked, the veggies are plentiful, and there are plenty of other goodies waiting for you at Sunset Hill Homestead! 🥚🍅🥒🍑🍯

We’ve got to be honest… the Bakery Test Kitchen isn’t happening quite the way we had hoped this weekend. 😭

Doug is STILL under the weather, and apparently his body has decided that horizontal couch time is the appropriate way to spend the weekend. 😂🤒

BUT… he did manage to peel himself off the couch long enough to make breakfast for his girls. 😉

And let’s just say… he may be sick, but apparently he can still bake. 👀😂

So while we’re postponing the official bakery shenanigans, we figured we’d make the best of it!

Good morning, homestead friends! ☀️

We’re heading home from camp this morning and making a few stops at some of our partner homesteads along the way. Since we have the opportunity to pick up some goodies that we don’t normally carry at the Sunset Hill Farmstand, we figured… why not?! 😎🌱

We’re hoping to have the stand freshly restocked and ready to roll by 1PM today! 🧺

So, if there’s a particular veggie, homemade goodie, or local product you’ve been hoping to see — especially something we don’t normally offer — shoot us a message before 10AM and we’ll see what we can do while we’re out making the rounds!

No guarantees, no promises, no crazy custom shopping lists 😂 — but we’ve got some room to bring home a few extra goodies!

Okay folks… WE HAVE A PROBLEM. 😂

The garden has officially entered its “PLEASE TAKE SOME OF THIS STUFF” era. 🌱🤣

We are absolutely OVERRUN with fresh vegetables and farm-fresh eggs, so we’re throwing open the gates and having a SUNSET HILL FLASH SALE today!

🕖 THE STAND WILL BE BOOMING UNTIL 7:00 PM TONIGHT! 🕖

We’ve got:
🍅 Tomatoes. Like… A LOT of tomatoes.
🌶️ Peppers of all shapes, sizes & levels of “OH GOD”
🫑 Bell peppers
🍆 Eggplant
🥬 Fresh lettuce
🥚 Farm-fresh eggs
🌱 And whatever else the garden has decided to throw at us today!

Basically, if your refrigerator is looking a little sad, WE CAN FIX THAT. 😂

Come grab some for dinner.
Come stock up for the week.
Come make a ridiculous salad.
Come make sauce.
Come pickle something.
Come take vegetables off our hands before we start leaving baskets of produce on our neighbors’ porches. 🤣
