We are thrilled to introduce two incredible additions to the Waco Downtown Farmers Market team.
Ali McNew joins us as Executive Director. A Baylor University graduate with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and a Master’s in Music Business & Entertainment from Berklee College of Music, Ali brings a deep commitment to community and a proven track record in event management. She previously launched and managed the Woodway Farmers Market as Special Events Coordinator for the City of Woodway, and returns to Waco after a year of venue and event management experience in Athens, Georgia. We are so glad she is home.
Moriah joins us as Market Manager. A proud Baylor graduate, Waco transplant, and middle school teacher, Moriah is also pursuing her Master of Social Work from the Baylor Garland School of Social Work. Her background includes board service with Imagination Library of Waco and a longstanding passion for advocacy, education, and community building. As a former volunteer and supporter of the Market, Moriah already knows and loves this community — and we are excited to make it official.
Together, Ali and Moriah bring energy, experience, and deep roots in Waco. We could not be more excited about the future of this Market and the community it serves.
