It's been a long time since our last post. I know you all have been worried about us and wondering what happened to Giannis Gourmet Cafe.

Hi Everyone! It's been a long time since our last post. I know you all have been worried about us and wondering what happened to Giannis Gourmet Cafe. So we just wanted to check in and let you know what's been going on...

Tom is still healing from a knee injury, but has been working on new, delicious items to bring to Gianni's.

We are creating a KickStarter campaign to help us launch the Gianni's Gourmet Cafe Food Trailer. Once that is done, we will be back in full force to bring you the best food yet.

Thank you for all the kind words and support you give us. We miss you all!

We just got the results from the Taste of Vista and the Golden Fork went to 508 Tavern. Congratulations! 🍻

Even though we didn't win, we did enjoy our time there sharing our food with old and new friends and there's always next year 😉🍴

Who went to Taste of Vista tonight? I was so busy eating I forgot to take photos. Oops! Highlights for me were: Korean taco from 508 Tavern, three different kinds of arancini from Gianni's Gourmet Cafe (I gave them my Golden Fork vote), amazing spicy sausage, ribs and peach cobbler from When Pigs Fly BBQ, Mead from Twisted Horn Mead & Cider and a slice with pesto from Urbn Coal Fired Pizza. I only made it to about 1/3 of the food/drink establishments. Sorry I missed Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen Vista- didn't realize your tasters were at your restaurant this year rather than on the street. ☹️ Hope you had fun if you went. If you did, what were your highlights?

The "Golden Fork" Award for favorite restaurant will be announced early next week. Fingers Crossed! 👍

However, we will be at the Taste of Vista this Wednesday, June 21st from 5pm to 8pm. We will be sampling 3 of our customer's favorite Aranacini... Tilly's Pesto, Bacon Jalapeno, and the Blue Goat.
