The Vista Farmers Market is actively seeking local market gardeners (or farmers) who have crops and items we do not have and/or unusual, small quantity produce that they grow -- we are open to any crop, but prefer edible crops. The Vista market has the largest number of farmers and the most parking of any market in the county. We also have the lowest fees of any market in the county (where the average minimum fee is around $35). Our minimum farmer fee is $2 (two dollars). If you are someone, or know someone, who might be interested, have them contact us --- or come by and see what we have.
One small caution, one of the most common crops that we see on applications is succulents. We have plenty and do not need more. We have had a number of small, backyard growers who have retired recently, and want to maintain a good variety of items from small, unusual sources.

The Vista Farmers Market is hosting an almost-free Plant
Propagation Workshop - - - how to propagate fig trees, chives, aloe, and sweet potato.

Saturday - - December 13th - - from 9:30 to 10:30 am

COST $1.00 (one dollar) — tickets only available at the Vista Farmers Market on Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon. Class is limited to 20 people.

the workshop is outdoors, at the market. You may get a little dirty if you participate.
