The hallmark of spring, Green Garlic is simply immature garlic and looks like a green onion. Green garlic can be used at any stage of its growth. Use as you would green onions or garlic. The taste of green garlic is stonger than a green onion but milder than garlic. Toss them raw in salads, dips, pesto and dressings. Saute' them for sauces, soups, stir-fry or grill them with olive oil, salt and pepper. When cooked green garlic sweetens. Also know as Spring Garlic. All JC Growers Produce is Chemical Free!

Just a reminder that if you are a customer of our online farmers market, you still have time to get your weekly orders in before 8am, this morning!!

We are year round, so although the growing season is resting, right now, the market still offers so many amazing local products from many local vendors!

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE A CUSTOMER AT THE ONLINE MARKET OF CHAMPAIGN LOCALLY GROWN!!!!!

Over the holiday break, something went wrong within the system, coming from the Yahoo platform, and both customer and vendors have been kicked out of the ability to receive the emails that I generate from the market. That includes ordering reminders, opening of market, closing of market, and quite possibly your order notifications.

I was able to change the vendors but I cannot help with the customer emails.

If you have a Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail email address, chances are you have had this happen.

I need you to go into the market site, log into your account, and you should see a box of Special Info. There are a series of choices, and one of them is Receives Mailings. Please check mark that box if you are a regular customer and want the mailings.

Once you place a
check mark in that box, make sure you click on the green button that will say Save Special Information!!

Also, the market reopened, last night, after the holiday break, so you are able to begin ordering!
