Watching the Cows on a Sunday, and instilling this love into our little.

It’s not all rainbows & sunshines, but it’s rewarding none the less. Even on the hard days, the not picture perfect days, the ones that make you question why we keep doing this, there’s still beauty in the making.

Our last Cow to Calf yesterday turned into a mess. (After an easy calfing season ofcourse)

Thankful to have sweet vet friends & neighbors, who show up, time and time again to remind us that it truely takes a village.

Betty had a fully breech calf, unfortunately we weren’t able to save the baby calf, but Momma is doing okay, and in the midst of the aftermath, I didn’t want to miss the chance to brag on my Better half.

In an urgent situation, he went in, no hesitation & no gloves to give momma cow her best chance. Men like
Him are few and far between. He shows up for this little farm every single day & is always willing to learn new things. I hope that is one of the many things Sadie looks up to, and loves about life here.

Just a little Monday reminder of what I’m thankful for this week, in the midst of a world gone crazy.
