If you're looking for something to do with the family, a girls' day out, or just an excuse to get out and support our small towns, there's plenty happening over the next couple of weeks!

🎃 October 20–31 | Syracuse
The Great Downtown 🎃 Halloween Showdown! Over 25 downtown businesses are competing for the best Halloween storefront. Walk downtown, check out their decorations, and vote for your favorites for a chance to win a $200 shopping spree!

🎶 October 23 | Palmyra
Live music with Nathan Wade at Dilleys Bar from 8–11 PM!

🛍️ October 24 | Bennet, Hickman, Adams & Syracuse
👻 Ghouls Day Out 🧡 A Small Town Shop Hop! Grab your girlfriends for a small-town shop hop starting at 10 AM. Visit all five participating businesses for a chance to win a gift basket!

👻 October 25 | City of Syracuse, Nebraska
Family Fright Night at Williams Park from 5–8:30 PM! Hayrack rides, haunted attractions, an outdoor movie, and food!

💐 October 30 | The Added Touch Flowers & Gifts
Something Wicked This Way Blooms Spooky Stems event! A Halloween floral workshop from 6–8 PM. $55 per person, limited seating!

Small Town Saturdays: SPOOKY Edition from 8:30–11:30 AM! New Day coffee + smoothies, shopping, kids' activities, and a Trunk-or-Treat featuring a fire truck, State Patrol car, skid loader, race cars, and more!

Local, supportive, and community seemed to be the common theme, but there were SO many other good ones!

Just a couple weeks away from Small Town Saturdays: SPOOKY Edition! 👻

Same vibe, different experience coming Halloween morning! 🎃

🍬 Trick-or-treating on main street with local heroes and Unadilla businesses!

☕ New Day coffee + smoothies truck will be there with coffee, smoothies and other fun drink options!

🥐 The Pastry Savant will have hot breakfast options for purchase.

🛍️ LYV&LYNDS are bringing cozy fall finds and Husker gear in their boutique trailer!

🎨 Pop into the Duncan Building for a live portrait of your family, kiddos, pups, or girlies with Kirk's Works! Add some hair tinsel with Omaha Fairy Hair, decorate a cookie with WildFlour Bakery, or paint a spooky canvas with Your A.DOOR.able Home.

🤠 Head into Glow on Main to create your own custom trucker hat with Pressed by Paige!

✨ Stop into Mal's Bar and Grill for permanent jewelry with Bare Tide Jewelry or a custom photo magnet with Mosier Made Print Co. (perfect little holiday gift!).

And while you're at it, stick around for lunch or a cocktail at Mal's!

THE RUMORS ARE TRUE. 👀🎃

But first, we were telling the truth. 😂

Our first Small Town Saturdays: Summer Series is officially DONE. Five months, five summer Saturdays, and we’re doing it all again next year. ❤️

But STS isn’t quite done with Main Street yet.

If you’ve been following us for a while, you know STS falls on the last Saturday of the month.

And this year?

October 31st is a Saturday.

There was absolutely no way we were passing that up.

Same place. Same time. Completely different vibe.

We’re bringing you a special edition:

Small Town Saturdays: SPOOKY Edition 👻

A kid & family-friendly Halloween morning, but honestly, it could just as easily be a ghouls day out, too. 🤪💃

No kids? Come anyway. Get some candy. Make a trucker hat. Add some more permanent jewelry or heck, sparkle with some hair tinsel. Have a portrait drawn of you and your besties.

Bringing the kiddos? We’ve got them covered too with spooky crafts & Hocus Pocus cookie decorating inside the Duncan Building.

And outside? Definitely not your typical trunk-or-treat.

If you know STS, we try to add our own spin on things.

So instead of lining up cars, we called in some of our local heroes & hometown favorites for a little Touch-a-Truck meets Trick-or-Treat.

Think fire trucks, tractors, skid loaders, race cars & more parked along Main Street for the kiddos to climb in, explore, take pictures with and collect candy from our local Unadilla businesses along the way.

Come in costume or Husker gear (or your favorite college football team) because it’s not every year Halloween lands on game day. 😍🏈

Same place. Same time. Same Small Town Saturdays. A whole different experience.

Yesterday was the last crawl of our first Small Town Saturdays summer series.

I loved watching everyone linger yesterday. Big groups, little groups, couples, and one woman who ran down just to get a little time to herself. Some popped in and out. Some stayed for hours. ❤️

Someone mentioned they haven’t made it to the farmers market in Lincoln because it turns into an all-day thing. And I thought, this is exactly why I love doing this here. A Saturday morning in our little towns can be whatever you need it to be.

We had beautiful weather every month, and yesterday was another incredible day to end it on. People are already asking about next year. Yes, we’re doing it again. 🥹

Thank you to every business that took a chance on this with us. We're just getting started!

There’s still rain in the forecast for tomorrow, but have no fear, we’re an indoor market!

You’ll find our Small Town Saturdays partners inside Glow on Main, Mal's Bar and Grill, and the Duncan Building, all along Main Street between the post office and the bank.

Come join us tomorrow from 8:30–11:30 a.m. for the final crawl of our 2026 Summer Series. Rain or shine, we’d love to have ya spend your morning with us in our little town! ❤️

This Saturday is the last “Crawl” of our Summer Series.

Come grab coffee and breakfast, shop around, enjoy a little self-care, snag some Boy Scout popcorn, and pick out your fall mums and pumpkins.
