Foothills Community Market isn’t currently listed as an option in Tucson Weekly’s Best of Tucson 2026 nominations for Best Farmers Market, but nominations are open for write-in candidates, and we’d love your support.

While we’re not a traditional farmers market, many of the other markets in this category aren’t either. We’re proud to be a community gathering place that supports local businesses, makers, artists, and entrepreneurs, and we’d be honored to be considered.

Last week we posted a reel joking that we were “guilty of running the friendliest market.”

The reel reached over 8,400 people, but the part we’re most proud of wasn’t the views.

It was a message from a woman in Texas who saw the reel and reached out because she wants to start a market in her own community.

That’s when it hit us: what we’re building isn’t just a market. It’s a model for connection, community, and supporting local businesses.

If sharing our journey helps someone create that same kind of space somewhere else, that’s a pretty incredible feeling.

To everyone who shops, vendors with us, shares our posts, and shows up month after month—thank you. You’re the reason people notice what we’re doing.
