The rain didn’t stop our Midweek Market & Music this past Wednesday. ☔️🧑‍🌾🎶

Although the weather was mild, the day was filled with wonderful vendors, tasty food trucks, and a great indoor Summer Concert featuring Joey Vee! Thank you to our Summer Concert Presenting Sponsor, Michigan Legacy Credit Union, and everyone who came out and braved the clouds and puddles! We can’t wait to see you for our next Midweek Market & Music on Wednesday, June 24.

Today, June 18, we celebrate the birthday of the late, remarkable trailblazer and the namesake of our park, Jeanne M. Stine.

Stine was elected to the Troy City Council in 1976 and served for 16 years. In April 1992, she was elected Mayor of Troy and served until 2001. Following her time as Mayor, Stine was reelected to the City Council and served from 2003–2006. Stine made history as the first woman to hold both positions in the City of Troy.

As a public servant, role model, and friend, Stine made a legendary impact on the Troy community. We will continue to miss her radiant presence and smile. 💙

⭐️ SPOTLIGHT VENDOR: Three little Loaves! Alexis is the owner and baker behind Three Little Loaves, a home-based micro bakery in Troy, Michigan, specializing in small-batch, naturally fermented sourdough. What started as a creative outlet during a major life transition became a passion rooted in patience, purpose, and home.
