we were 2 weeks old yesterday 🤪 mom is off on her days of the week. we heard she had to adult or something like that.

but without further ado let us share with you what we are looking like and what’s been going on.

There are still 207 of us and we got an upgrade because we were getting BIG mom said so we got another house (brooder). So we have more room to move about. Between all of us we are eating 50lbs of feed a day and thanks to the great owners at they keep mom well stocked on food so she never runs out. See you next week where we will be working our way from cute / ugly to just darn right ugly. But we will let you be the judge of that next week.

We are sorry to say that we will have to miss todays Railcar Farmers Market of Van Alstyne Indoor Market as we have to adult today and wait for the plumber as we have NO hot water!

But do not fear we will see you in two weeks on October 27th from 3 - 7pm with a freezer of Beef and Chicken.

Come out and visit all the other amazing vendors in the NEW location at the Van Alstyne Recreation Center.

It is everything and more because we are back in Krugerville Farmers Market for the farmers market today, Sunday, October 11th from 10am - 2pm.

Today is the DAY!!! It's Market day!!

Come and join us as we bring a freezer full of Beef (grass fed / grain finished) and Chicken (pasture raised). We are so excited that the weather is cooler because with that brings happy smiling faces. And we can't wait to see you.

We are excited to be at the Denton Community Market this weekend from 9-1pm on Saturday, October 10th.

We are in the cycle of another round of meat birds so that we can continue inventory through the winter. However this time around I wanted to share the cycle of life and what that looks like for the life of a meat bird. So join us each Wednesday for the next 7 weeks so I can share and you can learn.

If you are looking for farm raised chicken look no further.

Last Tuesday / Wednesday these cute little things were hatched and picked up from Windy Meadows Hatchery. They supply us with all of our meat bird chicks and I could not be more grateful for all that they do.

They were place in our brooder box and everything was ready for them as all supplies had been picked up from our friends of the Family in Anna, TX. They keep everything stocked and ready for us when we do our meat bird runs.

Now we just feed, water and check everyone through out the day. Keeping the water containers filled, food topped off and temperature just right.

Something has been in the works and it was created to make a meal easier but healthily for you and your family. We have been in the kitchen working on some one pot solutions and we are looking forward to bringing them to you here in the next couple of weeks.

We are welcoming OCTOBER!!!

Oh how we have prayed and hoped for some rain to feed the pastures and cool us down. However, I am not sure that any of the animals here at Farm 2 Fork really know what to do about it.

The chickens have slowed down a bit on laying eggs to say what the heck mom?!?! While the meat bird chicks, 208 to be exact are saying we love our heat lamps mom bring it ON!!

The cows are looking at me like the cool is nice but what is this stuff falling from the sky?

And the dogs well they are so confused but know that mom is not a fan of muddy paws!

As you have seen our schedule gets a little crazy in the fall as we are trying to juggle family, fun and football so bear with us. We are making sure to see everyone twice this month.

Krugerville Farmers Market - October 11 & 25 - 10 - 2pm
Anna Farmer's Market - October 11 & 25 - NEW TIME - 4 - 7pm
Railcar Farmers Market of Van Alstyne - October 13 & 27 - NEW LOCATION - 588 W A Denton Drive, Van Alstyne

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this month. We are working on surprises and taking this first weekend of October off to prep some new projects around the house and work on some special release items so stay tune.
