You won’t find any mysterious ingredients, toxic additives, or unregulated foreign meat in our cans! Our Wertz's canned beef and pork are the highest quality you can find.

Concerning the 10 grams of protein USDA has on our beef and pork labels: Best Canned Meat is not allowed by the USDA to put our actual nutritional and protein content on our label. The USDA goes by the standard that all canned beef and pork are from old cull canner cows and old canned sows. These cull animals are used for breeding purposes and not for high-quality meat and the canning industry uses them in all canned meat and that lower quality meat is the industry's standard to be put on all labels.

The beef and pork we use go to high-end restaurants and on the wholesale market sell for 2 to 3 times more than canner cows and sows. Our grams of protein should at least read "25" grams per serving, not the 10 grams USDA has for old canner cows and sows. Moreover, our Best Canned beef and pork are just as good as you can get at a high-end meat market.
