Our friendly farm family will be glad to assist you and answer any questions you or your family. The Roadside Market opens in the spring with asparagus and greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers. Strawberries are right around the corner, followed by sweet and tart cherries. The latter part of June also brings flavorful green beans, field-fresh cucumbers, summer squash and peppers. By mid-July, you’ll f

ind “just picked” sweet corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, blueberries, peaches, summer apples, field-ripened tomatoes, new potatoes and the largest sweet Spanish onions you’ve ever seen. As fall approaches, the farm bears apples, grapes, pears, squash and other fall ornamentals. As much as possible, we offer U-pick options to allow you to pick directly from the tree or vines.

Happy Thursday! We will have strawberries available on the market today. 

We are picking in our own fields and supplementing them from another local farm due to the frost damage in our field.

 We are open from nine until four but will not have berries available until around 11 o’clock this morning.

 They will be available by the quart and 5 quart box. 

 We also have fresh picked Asparagus and rhubarb.😀

 If you want us to hold berries until you can come pick them up, you may call us at the number below to do that.

 Reminder, the strawberry season is still just starting and we’re still picking only the early variety of berries. 🍓🍓

🍓Strawberries are slowly ripening. 🍓The slowness is caused by these wonderful cool nights that make it so easy for us to sleep with our windows open, but the strawberries put on their little jackets until the sun comes out during the day😆. See the photo we made below😀

 Therefore, we will have limited quantities of berries at the market this week, depending on the weather and waiting for additional varieties to get ready. So no flats or u-pick yet.

 We will not have any berries on Tuesday, June 2.  We are closed on Wednesday, June 3. We will update on late Wednesday or early Thursday morning with more info.

 Once the season gets underway and rolling, there will be berries, so patience please. We are all anxious to have this wonderful sweet summer treat. 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓

The strawberries are on their way to the market and will be here around 11 o’clock. Come on over and grab some. 🍓🍓

We’re open till 4 o’clock today. Don’t forget to get some shortcake made in our bakery and your ice cream.😊

Happy Saturday! Strawberries are being picked for us this morning at a local farm and will arrive late morning.

We will post back here when they arrive so if you’re wanting to get berries, come in the afternoon or wait for our post update 🍓🍓

These are early berries and only available by the quart. No 8 quart flats until the season gets going.

We still have asparagus, rhubarb, lettuces. Plus mini tomatoes and cucumbers from our greenhouse.

The bakery is already at it making muffins, cookies, and of course: donuts🍩

Yay, strawberries are coming! We will  have some available this afternoon and we’re open until 6 o’clock today.

 These are early berries that we are getting from  another local farm as we lost most of our early berries in the Frost events this spring.  And we know you’re all ready for a Michigan strawberry.🍓🍓

We hope to have them available all weekend long.  Until the season really starts up in about a week to 10 days, We will only have them for sale by the Quart, $ 6 each.  We will have plenty of them to sell when they get here. We’re hoping around noon or 1 o’clock.

Our bakery is making shortcakes! We have Plainwell vanilla ice cream in the freezer. Finally! A first strawberry Shortcake of the year!!

 Yes, we still have asparagus and Rhubarb and hope to have it through part of next week at least.  But it’s coming to an end so don’t wait too long.😊

Happy Sunday and Happy National Asparagus day!  For anyone who loves this spring vegetable and tries to have as much as they can during the season, every day is national asparagus day!😊

Looks like it might be a rainy morning, feel free to drive up and park closer to the market to avoid having to run through the raindrops💧☔️🌧️
