At what point does Trenton admit there's a problem?
You can't keep raising taxes, increasing costs, and making it harder to do business—and expect companies to stay. Every business that leaves takes jobs, investment, and opportunity with it.
Maybe the path to more revenue isn't having some of the highest taxes in the nation. Maybe it's lowering the tax burden and creating a business climate that attracts employers instead of driving them away.
The facts don't lie: businesses are leaving, residents are leaving, and New Jersey is losing. It's time for a different approach.
