BEAUTIFUL FALL WEATHER IS THE FORECAST FOR THIS WEEKEND -BIG M PUMPKIN PATCH is open to the public on SATURDAY and SUNDAY thru November 1, 2026 - Our pumpkin patch features our CORN MAZE - HAYRIDES - PICK YOUR OWN PUMPKINS - CHILDREN PLAY AREAS - PHOTO OPS. Saturday hours are 10 am til 6 pm. Sunday hours are 10 am til 4 pm. Our Big M grown, fresh picked vegetables available this weekend include zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, okra, tomatoes, and eggplant.
A $8 PER PERSON ADMISSION FEE includes all activities - corn maze, bale maze, children play areas, use of photo displays and includes hay rack rides to our "Pick Your Own" pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin fresh from the vine. Pumpkins range in price from $1.00 to $20.00 each.
CASH, CHECKS, & ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED.
Children three and under are free.
Our pre-picked fall decorating items include Pumpkins, Honey, Gourds, Squash, Popcorn, Straw Bales, and Bundles of Corn Stalks. No admission fee for only coming to purchase fall decorating items. See attached photos taken at our pumpkin patch.
Week days are reserved for groups by appointment. Book weekday fieldtrips for schools, daycares, preschools, etc. by calling 217-824-6625.

BOOK YOUR WEEKDAY FIELDTRIP TO BIG M PUMPKIN PATCH NOW! BIG M PUMPKIN PATCH is open to the public on SATURDAY and SUNDAY thru November 1, 2026 but weekdays are reserved for fieldtrips for schools, daycares, preschools, or any other group by appointment. Call (217)824-6625 for more information and to schedule your group.
Groups are $10 per person (teachers and bus drivers are free) and includes all activities and a hay rack ride around our farm and to our "Pick Your Own" pumpkin patch. At the pumpkin patch each group member gets to pick your own pie size pumpkin to take home. See attached photos for examples of our activities.

At this week's Taylorville Farmers Market - Saturday August 29, 2026 - 9 am til 12:00 pm at the Taylorville Manners Park Chatauqua Building. We plan on setting up inside the Chatauqua Building again this week.
SUPER SWEET SWEETCORN - We posted last week that it was our final week for sweetcorn this year. Well, we lied. We were able to walk the patch that we picked last week and were able to pick around 30 dozen ears that we will have for sale at the farmers market. The ears are small so we will be selling 16 ears for the one dozen price. This is definitely our last week for sweetcorn this year.
The rest of our fresh picked produce for sale on Saturday will include; PUMPKIN BLOSSOMS, TOMATOES, NEW POTATOES, ZUCCHINI, CUCUMBERS, BELL PEPPERS, EGGPLANT, HOT PEPPERS, OKRA, a few GREENBEANS, RHUBARB, ONIONS, GARLIC BULBS, and POPCORN.
